That horde of skeletons that guard your box of lies

A line of characters yet to be introduced
So many options for you to pick and choose

Old Billy Boxcar coughing up his lime green smoke
Careful old timer, you know you’re liable to choke
On the facts you won’t digest, because you think it’s such a joke?
Oh brush it ‘neath the carpet and assume I just misspoke
Biting the hand that gave you such a pleasant cruise
Cut off the anchors, so there’s nothing left to lose
Starflower is coming through

The golden monkey’s sitting high up on his throne
Watching the dogs fight over few remaining bones
As he talks into his mirror just to feel he’s not alone
To the sounds of sticks and riot shields from a golden gramophone
Collecting memories with every single bruise
Painting the perils, gonna hang them in the louvre
Star power is pushing it through
With no idea just what to do

Death ain’t the answer so the outer voices say
But the inner ones are tugging on that rope a different way
As I slide between the alleys of despair and old dismay
And I wonder will I ever meet that stranger?
Caught in a bubble that I’m too afraid to pop
Narrowly avoiding all the pointed mountain tops
Oh, call the doctors, call the medics, call the preachers, call the cops
Hope I’m still standing when the god damn penny drops
